Inventory List Upload

If you would like to upload your inventory list, you will need to download the sample template attached below. 

The following fields are available in the template:

• Brand Name (Required)
• Part Name (Required)
• Part Number (Required)
• Alternate Part Number
• Description
• Part Type (1 = Part and 2 = Tire) (Required)
• BIN #
• Quantity in Stock (you can enter 0) (Required)
• Minimum Quantity
• Maximum Quantity
• Unit Cost (can not be $0 or blank) (Required)
• Retail Price (can not be $0 or blank) (Required)
• Tire Model
• Tire Width
• Tire Ratio
• Tire Diameter
• Tire Construction
• Tire Index Load
• Tire Speed Ratio

Please do not add or rearrange the columns in the template, as this may cause delays in the upload process.

Below are some examples of how the data will appear inside of Tekmetric after the template has been imported:

Key:

1 – Brand                              4 – Description                     7 – BIN

2 – Name                              5 – Unit Cost                        8 – Quantity

3 – Part Number                   6 – Retail Price                      9 – Unit Type

On the Inventory File template, you will find aids if you hover your cursor over the header category. The header has also been color coded:

Green     -     applicable to All entries
Blue        -     applicable to  Part Entries
Orange   -     applicable to Tire Entries

Once you fill out the template, you will email it to the onboarding team at onboarding@tekmetric.com to get it uploaded. Please note, if this is part of your data migration, please let your onboarding specialist know you do not want to migrate any inventory from your legacy shop management system. 

NOTE: If you do not format your inventory list correctly, some data (some parts) will not be migrated correctly, and you will have to manually clean up your data.
