When shops order parts through the parts hub that are no longer needed on a RO, and instead need to be sent to inventory, this can be handled inside of the parts hub by completing the following steps:
- Click into Parts Hub from the top of the Estimate tab and then go to the Ordered/Received tab.
- Identify the part that needs to be sent to inventory.
- Click the three dots next to the part and choose Move To Inventory.
- Specify the quantity of items you wish to move to inventory and click Continue.
- Tekmetric will then prompt you to confirm your choice to continue with adding the part to any matching inventory inventory or creating a new item in inventory. Then you will move the part.
