Tire DOT# Management in Tekmetric

Where can I enter Tire DOT#s in Tekmetric today?

Users can enter in Tire DOT#s on repair orders in Tekmetric in the following locations:

• On jobs within the Estimate tab (in read-only and edit mode)
• On jobs within the Work in Progress tab

Check out the screenshots below. Look for the blue DOT# button on each screen - this is what you select to enter DOT#s on the RO.

When you select the blue DOT# button, a modal appears that allows you to enter in DOT#s. The quantity of tires in the modal should match the quantity of tires on the job itself. Once you enter the DOT#s, you can save your entry by:

1. Selecting Close in the modal and saving the job (when in edit mode on a job on the Estimate tab).
2. Selecting Save in the modal (when in read-only mode on a job on the Estimate tab or within the Work In Progress tab).

After an RO is posted, where can I reference the DOT#s that exist on that RO?
