Often times, you might have more than one technician assigned to a job. Could be because:
- Level A Tech can help a Level C Tech if the job is too complex.
- Tech X left early because he was sick, and Tech Y needed to help finish the job.
- Oil changes: Pit Tech vs. Hood Tech
The article will review how to assign multiple technicians when needed on a job.
Tech Assignment on Job Level
Tech assignment is at the labor line; however, to avoid the extra clicks, you can assign a technician to the job. This will assign the technician to ALL the labor lines on the job, not only unassigned labor lines.
Before assigning tech at job level
After assigning tech on the job - you'll notice Aaron gets assigned to all the labor lines
Multiple Techs on a Job
In Tekmetric, you can assign multiple technicians to a job by assigning different technicians per labor line. You can assign technicians to labor lines in edit mode OR when the job is saved - whatever you prefer!

If the technician does NOT have the permission to mark a repair order complete and start/stop all job clocks (secondary permission under Work-In-Progress), then they will just see their job clock:
You'll notice here, Ferial now only sees the labor line she was assigned to, and only her job clock.
