Depending on where you live, you might be replacing engine oil in quarts, or liters. In Tekmetric, you can set up your preferred fluid units within the RO sidebar.
If you have Shop Settings permissions enabled (usually owners and shop admins), then you can select how you want us to pull quantity of fluids into smart jobs.
Click the gear icon located next to the Fluids section within a repair order. If you do not see the gear icon, contact the shop owner to get this set up.
Once selected, a modal will appear where you can set your preferred fluid units. Here you will save your preference and this will affect the quantity of fluid (in this case, oil), the engine oil smart job will pull.
For an example, if you have fluid units set to Quarts, then we will pull the quantity of oil in quarts (see screenshot below).
For the same vehicle, when we switch fluid units to Liters, we will then pull the quantity of oil needed in liters (see screenshot below).
