WHAT IS IT?
Tekmetric Online Booking allows customers to schedule service appointments online. For Multi-Shop Organizations, we’ve now added a centralized way to manage and launch Online Booking across all locations in your organization—right from the Tekmetric Marketing tab. This new view gives you a single place to enable or disable Online Booking per shop, preview links, and grab embed codes without having to visit each individual shop profile.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
-
Unified Customer Link: MSOs can now generate a single Online
Booking link that routes customers to the most convenient shop based on their
location. While settings are still managed individually per shop, this feature
provides a centralized customer-facing entry point for all enabled
locations.
-
Faster Setup: Quickly enable Online Booking across your
organization, preview links, and grab embed codes to add it to your website
with just a few clicks.
-
Customer Convenience: When customers book via your MSO-wide
Online Booking link, they’ll see a location picker with shops automatically
ordered by distance to their current location.
-
Flexible Location Inclusion: You can exclude shops from
appearing in the central link if needed, such as test environments or shops
not ready to accept online appointments.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You’ll find the MSO-level view by navigating to your Multi Shop Org View > Online Booking. From here:
- Enable or disable Online Booking access for any shop in your org.
- Preview the individual booking tool for any location.
- Copy embed codes or public-facing links for each shop.
- Use the “Get Central Booking Code” to generate an MSO-wide link that includes all enabled shops.
Each shop still manages its specific Online Booking settings—such as appointment durations, availability, and services—from their individual dashboard. Clicking “Manage” on a shop will take you directly to that shop’s Online Booking settings page.
SETUP
Enable Online Booking Per Shop
From the Multi-Shop Online Booking tab, locate any shop in the list. The Booking Tool Access Status column reflects whether each shop has Online Booking enabled or not. Only shops with Online Booking currently enabled will appear in the MSO-wide location selector for customers. If a shop needs to be enabled, you’ll need to visit that shop’s individual Online Booking settings page and enable it there.
Exclude Shops from MSO Link
Use the “Exclude from Central Booking” checkbox to prevent a shop from showing up in your MSO-wide location picker—even if Online Booking is enabled.
Preview and Share
Each shop row provides three actions:
- Preview – View what the Online Booking tool looks like for that shop.
- Get Code – Get the embed script and shareable link for the individual location.
- Manage – Opens the individual shop’s Online Booking settings for deeper configuration (availability, services, colors, etc.).
CUSTOMER VIEW
When customers visit your MSO-wide link, they’ll be prompted to select a shop using a location picker. Shops are ordered by distance to the customer’s current geolocation (if permissions are granted). If geolocation is denied or unavailable, we’ll fall back to displaying all eligible shops in alphabetical order.
Once a location is selected, the experience continues just like a single-shop booking flow.

ADDING TO YOUR WEBSITE
Each shop’s embed script and link can be copied using the “Get Code” button next to that shop. For your all-locations link, use the blue “Get Central Booking Code” button at the top right.
You’ll receive:
- A script to embed on your site’s <body> tag
- A custom booking button to launch the tool
- A public-facing URL that can be used in ads, email, or SMS

Only those with Online Booking enabled and not marked as excluded.
What if a shop isn’t ready to go live yet?
Disable their access or mark them as excluded to hide them from the MSO view.
