• How do I get the Tekmetric Mobile app?
  • You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Simply search for “Tekmetric Mobile.”
• What devices are supported?
  • Tekmetric Mobile is available on iOS (min version iOS 15.1+) and Android (min version 7.0) devices (both mobile phones and tablets).
    • If this is just internal, you can link to this page.
• How do I get updates?
  • Navigate to the App Store or Play Store, search for the app, and if an update is available, the page will have an "Update" button.

Login

• How do I log in?
  • Use the same credentials you use to log in to the main Tekmetric application.
• Can I create a new user account on the app?
  • No, new user accounts must be created on the web version of Tekmetric.
• What if I forget my password?
  • You can perform a password reset directly from the login screen of the app.
• Why doesn’t the app save my password?
  • The developers are working on enhancements for easier login. In the meantime, it's recommended to use a password manager tool like 1Password.
• I don't see any shops in my Dashboard.
  • You must be an employee of the shop to view its data.

Using the App

• Job Board:
  • Can I sort the Job Board? The Job Board can only be filtered, not sorted.
  • How can technicians find their ROs faster? Technicians should use the My Work tab from the Job board. This will show any assigned and incomplete inspections or jobs.
• Inspections:
  • Can I assign an inspection to an employee from the app? Yes. From the inspection, select the 3 dot menu at the top right. Then select "Assign."
  • Can I reorder inspection tasks? No.
• Feedback:
  • How can I give feedback on the app? Go to the app's Settings and select "App Feedback."
