Setting Up Your Tekmetric Payments Terminal

Below are instructions to connect your newly received terminal through Tekmetric Payments. If are not yet a Tekmetric Payments customer, but would like to set up a demo, click here. 

Terminal Setup: Tekmetric Payments

Please follow the steps below to connect a new terminal:

1. Click on Payments in the left navigation.
2. Click on the Terminals tab.
3. Click Add Terminal.
4. A window will pop up to setup your Terminal:
5. Type in your Terminal Name. An example of terminal name that you can use is Front Counter, Shop Name, etc...Anything that will help you identify which terminal is which when accepting payments.
6. Type in the Pairing Code. To generate a pairing code, go to your Terminal and swipe right from the left edge of the reader screen to reveal a Settings button. Tap the Settings button and enter the admin PIN 07139. From here, you can generate a pairing code for device registration.
7. Your Business Name and Address should already be populated. However, you can edit the information if you'd like.
8. Click Register Terminal.
9. Your terminal is now registered, and you can begin taking card payments! The transactions will automatically populate within Tekmetric.
10. If you would like to register more terminals, then please repeat steps listed above. You can add as many terminals as you'd like!
