Tekmetric's Reports page now lets you pin your most-used reports so they're always front and center. Pinned reports appear in a Favorite Reports section at the top of the page, so you can get to the reports you run most without scrolling through the full list.
How to Favorite a Report
- Go to Reports in the left navigation.
- Find the report you want to favorite.
- Click the star icon in the top corner of the report card.
The report will move to the Favorite Reports section at the top of the page.
To remove a report from Favorite Reports, click the star icon again to unpin it.
How Favorite Reports Works
- All of your pinned reports are displayed by default — there's no limit on how many show at once.
- The Favorite Reports section stays expanded as you navigate around the page. To hide it, click the collapse control. It will stay collapsed until you expand it again.
- Your favorites are saved per user and per shop, so each person's Favorite Reports is their own, and favorites for one location don't carry over to another.
- For multi-shop accounts, favorites can also be pinned at the organization level, making commonly used reports easy to find across all locations.
Other Updates to the Reports Page
Along with Favorite Reports, the Reports page includes a few other improvements to help you find and understand your data faster:
Report descriptions — Each report card now includes a short plain-language description of what the report shows, so you can confirm it's the right one before opening it.
Tooltips — Hover over a report card for additional details, like which date a report counts by or why its numbers might differ from a related report.
Note: The reports themselves haven't changed — only the way they're organized and described on the page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my favorites shared with other users at my shop? No. Favorites are saved per user, so each person at the shop maintains their own Favorite Reports list.
Will my favorites carry over if I switch between shops? Favorites are saved per shop. If you work across multiple locations, you'll need to set your favorites separately for each one. Multi-shop accounts can also have organization-level favorites that appear for all users.
What if I don't see the Favorite Reports section? This feature is currently rolling out to shops in stages. If you don't see it yet, it will be available soon. Contact support if you have questions.
