How to Pull ROW Access Data

This article will cover the correct steps to pull your ROW Access Data and import that data into Tekmetric successfully.

Pull ROW Access Data

1. In the desktop search bar on the bottom left, search for Documents.
2. Click C:DRIVE - sometimes (OC (C:).
3. Click ROWriterData or ROWriter.
4. Locate the Database titled: RoWriter.mdb and verify the following:
   • Date (should be date you are pulling and really close to the time).
   • Type is Microsoft Access .mdb file.
5. Then right click on it and click Copy.
   • Note: Do not cut, make sure to copy.
6. Paste the copied file to the desktop.

** If permissions prevent you from pasting onto the desktop, create a "Temp" folder within the C Drive and paste the file there.**

Upload into Tekmetric's Data Migration Tool

1. Navigate to Tekmetric and go to the Integrations tab and go to the Data Migration Upload Tool Box.                                                                                                         
2. Click Upload, and in the window that pops up, click Upload File.
3. Search the Desktop for the Backup File and upload it.
