Custom Financial Report
The Custom Financial Report allows you to analyze your organization's performance in several different ways:
- Perform a side-by-side shop comparison of certain metrics for all shops in your organization.
- Perform a time period comparison of certain metrics for individual shops and your overall organization.
In the image below, you can see an example of this report. All shops are listed across the top of the table, and metrics are listed along the left. For each metric, the Previous Period, Current Period, and % Change between the periods are listed.
If you prefer to have the shops listed along the left, you can use the pivot option (button with By Metric/By Shop text on it) in the upper left corner of the table to switch the configuration of the report.
You have the ability to customize which metrics appear on this report. When selecting the Metrics button at the top of the page, the Configure Metrics modal will appear. In this modal, you can pick and choose which metrics appear on the report and reorder the metrics based on your preferences.

You also have the ability to configure the date range on this report. You can look at one specific time period by turning off the Compare to: option. When the Compare to: option is turned on, you have three choices to pick from:
- Previous Year: This automatically selects the previous year as the comparison period.
- Previous Period: This automatically selects the immediately previous period as the comparison period.
- Custom: With this option, you can pick any date range you want, as long as it falls before the currently selected time period.
Finally, you also have the ability to customize which shops appear on this report. This can be done using the Shop filter at the top of the page.
This report is also available for CSV download.

PAYMENTS OVERVIEW REPORT
With the Payments Overview report, you can effortlessly analyze payment data from all your shops, enabling you to spot trends, identify opportunities, and optimize your business strategies.
To streamline your experience, all shops within the organization are automatically selected by default. Additionally, refunds are displayed as negative numbers, ensuring clarity and ease of interpretation.
Take a look at the example below to see how the Payments Overview report looks in action.
Employee Reports:
- Realtime Service Writer
- Realtime Technician
- Technician Hours
- Employee Timesheets
- Employee Commissions
- Inspection
Customer Reports:
- Customer Lead Source
- RO Marketing Source
Parts Reports:
- Parts Purchased
- Parts Usage
Each report looks and feels like it does in individual shops in Tekmetric, with a few exceptions:
- The data on the reports defaults to displaying aggregate data for all shops in your organization combined.
- There is a shop filter at the top of the page that lets you choose which shop's data to include in the report.
See below for an example using the End of Day report. At first glance, this looks and feels like the normal End of Day report in an individual shop within Tekmetric. However, it's actually displaying totals for all of my shops combined. You can also see the Shop filter at the top of the page.
When I select the Shop filter, I see a list of all my shops. I can pick and choose which shops I want included on the report. This allows me to quickly switch between shops on these reports and slice and dice the data however I want.
All other reports listed above in the Aggregate Reports section follow the same pattern as the End of Day report example above. You should now be able to quickly switch between these reports for individual shops and even see aggregate numbers for whatever combination of shops you choose!
