Tekmetric Payments allows you to easily take payments from your payment terminal (card present), over the phone (card not present), and via text using text-to-pay (or email).

Taking Payments From the Terminal (Card Present)
For all in person transactions, you can quickly take payments directly from your payment terminal (aka card reader) from within Tekmetric.
- Enter the Payments Tab of the RO.
- Select Credit or Debit.
- Select the Card Present option.
- Once the terminal lights up, have your customer tap, insert, or swipe their card.
- Done! The payment status will be immediately displayed in the Transactions table.

Taking Payments Over the Phone (Card Not Present)
To take payments over the phone or if your payment terminal is currently being occupied, Tekmetric Payments allows you to manually key in your customer's card information to keep your shop moving.
- Enter the Payments Tab of the RO.
- Select Credit or Debit.
- Select the Card Not Present option.
- Enter the card information in the Credit or Debit Payment Details popup.
- Done! The payment status will be immediately displayed in the Transactions table.
Text-To-Pay and Email-To-Pay
Tekmetric Payments also allows your customer to pay for their RO via text or email making it easy for busy, on-the-go clients. Additionally, both text-to-pay and email-to-pay support Buy Now, Pay Later options via Affirm and Klarna (learn more).
- Enter the Payments Tab of the RO.
- Select Share Invoice on the top right.
- Select the Email or SMS and add the email or phone number.
- Done! Once the customer adds their card information, the payment status will be immediately displayed in the Transactions table.
